Confederate P120 Fighter Combat unveiled

P120 Fighter Combat has been unveiled by the Confederate Motors Inc at at the Quail motorsports gathering in Carmel, during the Pebble Beach car week.
Confederate P120 Fighter Combat is one of the super special motorcycles considering its price and availability. It will be built for only 120 units.
It is armed with 160 horsepower (at the rear wheel) and 182Nm of torque from its 1,966cc twin-cylinder engine. The engine is coupled with a close-ratio five-speed unit transmission.
The 207kg Confederate P120 Fighter Combat features especially monocoque chassis that is made of aircraft-grade aluminium. This is supported by a front’s double wishbone suspension and back’s adjustable monoshock. Brembo also comes. The brake comes with carbon-ceramic discs and radial-mount four-piston calipers. There is a 19-inch front’s wheels and 18-inch rear’s.

Moto Guzzi’s 1600cc bike to compete with Harley-Davidson

Moto Guzzi is planning to build big bore engine (1600cc) to compete with Harley-Davidson. According to MCN that the bike specifically will be compete with Harley�s 1584cc big twins. It will carry the historic �California� name.
Moto Guzzi�s Head of Communications, Daniele Torresan confirmed that the decision to make the big bore machine considering the Moto Guzzis American importer has asked the Piaggio Group to consider making a big cruiser for their market.
According to Daniele Torresan the current largest capacity Moto Guzzi has is four-valve head close to 1400cc. This engine capacity would not be enough to compete with Harley Davidson so that the Italian company considering to producing a simple two-valve head design, which can be 1600cc. The bike’s prototype may be debuted at the Milan show later this year.
“I have seen some of the sketches and it�s a typical cruiser style, a bit like the Yamaha Midnight Star, but obviously typically a Moto Guzzi.� He added.

2010 Buell 1125RR American Superbike

Buell will be hitting the American Superbikes series as the American Harley-Davidson’s brother has revealed the $39,995 (�24,400) racer for the bike competition. The racing bike will be available for the AMA race license holders only. It will be limited number bike.
2010 Buell 1125RR American Superbike is powered by a heavily modified version of the Rotax 1125cc v-twin engine that used in Buell’s 1125R and 1125CR. The engine has higher compression ratio. The engine is served by a 61mm down-draft injectors. The valves and the camshaft have been revised. It is equipped with a larger airbox and larger intake manifold. It will be also equipped with titanium exhaust system. The totally modification makes the bike have more power and torque.
The better handling is important. The bike comes with race-spec Showa suspension and a cast-aluminum swingarm with billet axle adjusters. Braking performance features eight-piston Nissin calipers.
