Buell will be hitting the American Superbikes series as the American Harley-Davidson’s brother has revealed the $39,995 (24,400) racer for the bike competition. The racing bike will be available for the AMA race license holders only. It will be limited number bike.
2010 Buell 1125RR American Superbike is powered by a heavily modified version of the Rotax 1125cc v-twin engine that used in Buell’s 1125R and 1125CR. The engine has higher compression ratio. The engine is served by a 61mm down-draft injectors. The valves and the camshaft have been revised. It is equipped with a larger airbox and larger intake manifold. It will be also equipped with titanium exhaust system. The totally modification makes the bike have more power and torque.
The better handling is important. The bike comes with race-spec Showa suspension and a cast-aluminum swingarm with billet axle adjusters. Braking performance features eight-piston Nissin calipers.
