Boxee to release version 1.05 by end of March

While we are still waiting on the complete change log from Boxee, it looks like they have spilled the details on an upcoming update for the Boxee Box which is set to arrive before the end of this month. The update was detailed by the VP of Marketing from Boxee on the TechWebcast podcast and notes that this will bring users up to version 1.05. As to the changes that one can expect to see—a “huge browser update.” And by that they are apparently referring to a browser that will now have access to more (flash-enabled) websites as well as more speed in terms of launch and page load times. Plus, there was also said to be improved support for HTML5 as well as CSS3. With that, Boxee users should be on the lookout as we are more than half-way through March as it is. In other words, this update should be arriving sooner rather than later.
