NEC Avio Infrared Technologies has released InfRec R300 infrared thermal imager. The newly released InfRec R300 high-definition and high-performance infrared thermal imager features a thermal resolution (NETD) of 0.05 degrees Celsius at 30 degrees Celsius, accuracy within +/- 1 degree Celsius and spatial resolution (IF.O.V) of 1.2mrad. Furthermore, the InfRec R300 comes with InfRec Analyzer NS9500PRO, PC software for real-time recording, detail data analysis and report creation. It is also capable of simultaneous video capturing of thermal/visible images into PC via USB as well as composite image display on a real-time basis. It application includes, R&D of electronic components or machineries, biological objects, quality control at manufacturing plants, preventive maintenance of power equipment and electrical facilities as well as building inspection.
The new InfRec R300 weighs around 1.3 kg including its battery which is 35% less than its predecessor. Among some of its key features are; minimum focus distance from 10 cm, high-speed auto focusing and fully automatic temperature scaling simultaneously, 3.1 Mega-pixel CMOS camera mounted, thermal/visual composite & split-screen display functions allow users to identify objects of interest easily, LED light for pinpointing objects of interest, user-friendly GUI and multilingual display. In addition to this, the new InfRec R300 has the capability of capturing multiple thermal images at once and creating panoramic image, and continuous digital zoom of x1 to x4. The new InfRec R300 has ability to measure temperature data as center/max/min points, movable points of up to 10, line profile, and average/ma/min of ROI (Region of Interest) of up to 5. The new InfRec R300 feature multi-point emissivity correction and emissivity back calculation for enhanced accuracy. The user can store thermal movie recording onto camera’s SD card.
