Panasonic has officially started the shipment of its new STYLE series P-06B VIERA handset to NTT DOCOMO. The new waterproof P-068 comes with a touch screen display, where by flipping over the display unit and changing to the viewer-style would starts up a touch menu, allowing the user to operate their favorite function with a touch of a finger or stylus. This new P-06B comes with a 13.2 megapixel wide angle camera featuring quick start-up and auto focus, as well as multitude of shooting functions like “intelligent auto mode” for automatically recognizing the scene, “Egao shutter” that shoots instantly when a person smiles and “Omakase choice” for helping to select the best shot among the pictures taken through continuous shooting. The new P-06B also includes functions like “handwriting diary” and “handwriting & memo” functions, allowing users to hand write schedules and decorate pictures with tools such as marker pens and stamps. The main display on this handset is full wide VGA, 3.1 inch TFT LCD (262, 144-color). The handset comes in a firm factor of 114 x51 x 18.9 mm (max. 21 mm), and it weighs 150 grams.
