The PSPgo is a flourishing handheld platform for Sony Entertainment, they have reached their sales expectations, SCEA senior vice president Peter Dille has insisted.

The PSPgo is a form factor for the Playstation Portable Platform, the intention of the PSPgo is specific for some consumers: the high end of the food chain that are very comfortable with digital. That’s not everybody, so their expectations were not for this to replace the PSP.
The PSPgo did meet their expectations, it is part of a bigger program now and it will help bloom the digital lifestyle again, so only success will come with this product.
The PSPgo was officially launched in 2009 as a digital only to the typical UMD PSP.
