HTC & Motorola Have Tegra 2 Tablet in Their Sights

Looks like the rumor mill is hard at work this morning as HTC and Motorola are both rumored to be working on a tablet. DigiTimes reports that both companies have placed orders for NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset.

Last week at Nvidia GPU conference they didn’t have much to say expect that Tegra 3 is coming! Which isn’t very comforting since we are waiting on Tegra 2 devices. So this news steps in line with their marketing ramp up for major announcements at CES. Everyone was skeptical but fingers crossed that this is the Tegra news that Nvidia been hinting about.

According to DigiTimes, Asus will also ship a device with a Tegra processor — which isn’t new news but its nice to hear this rumor again.
