Release of Industry First LED Ceiling Lights for Home Lighting by SHARP

Sharp has introduced six new models of LED Ceiling lights into the Japanese market. The new lights are industry first LED ceiling lights, using company’s proprietary diffusion technology. Featuring a thin design that bears only 43 mm at its thickest part at just 8 mm at its thinnest, The new lights comes with adjustable color functions and dimmer function, combine for a total of 110 different levels of color and brightness.
The new lights comes with Eco functions allowing energy savings of up to 65%, these are the Eco Light Rhythm (DL-C501V/C301V/C302V models),Eco Dimmer function and Eco Sensor function (on all 6 models). Lumen flux ranges from 2350 to 5100 lumens depending on the model. The new lights will hit the Japanese market by September 17th, 2010, with estimated monthly production of 5,000 units. No pricing has been set for these new LED lights as of yet.
