Release of New 60V Large Screen Touch Panel by SHARP

Sharp unveiled a new LCD touch panel combining sharp’s UV2A and LED backlight technologies, capable of displaying video as well as still images. The user can use the accompanying pen to right characters and other type of figures on the screen, making the display to perform as a white board for presentation purposes during business meetings and lectures. Furthermore, all the entered as well as displayed data can be save and later printed out, making it an ideal feature for distributing and creating meeting minutes.
The PN-L601B features low power consumption, given the large size screen and its multitude of functionality. The new PN-L601B display will be released into the market by August 31, 2010, with planned monthly production of 500 units. There is no suggested retail price on the PN-L601B as of yet.
