Lifepad A800 Android tablet Joins China Telecoms Portfolio

Interesting that China Telecom is adding a 7 inch tablet in their mobile technology portfolio. The tablet has a 7 inch, 800 x 600 pixel resistive touchscreen display running a Freescale i.MX515 processor with Google Android 2.1.
There are also a few other key specs that make this tablet interesting, the fact taht 720p HD video playback is offered makes this a decent option. Connectivity wise this handheld offers WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, SIM Card slot, SD card slot and a USB port. Additions specs include 1.1 pounds and may have 512MB of RAM, 1GB of storage space and a stylus.

Price wise its pretty expensive with a contract you’re looking at about $180 and $700 without a contract! In my opinion it should be free or $30 with contract and $180 without contract, but maybe I’ve been hanging out in the back alley’s of Shenzhen a little too long!
