Verizon Samsung Stealth Pictures & Details Out in the Open; Mid-April Launch Likely

If you are among those people who had been following the CES 2011, you might be familiar with the Samsung device showcased then. Termed the Samsung SCH-i510 then, the device has made an appearance again under the Samsung Stealth branding.

Stumbled upon in the wild, the Verizon Samsung Stealth details reveal that the name has been cleared by the FCC. Pictures found along with the really little info, make think this is one device that will bring Samsung much ahead of rivals.
Likely to be rolled out during the middle of April, the date seems to bring to rest speculations that the device could see the light of the day only by mid-year. At least, that was what was being talked about when the Samsung SCH-i510 was shown at CES

We expect the device to come sporting Samsung’s own TouchWiz interface and could be upgraded to a post-2.2 Froyo Android OS. However, we are yet to find out when the update will happen.
Tipster info that folks at TechnoBuffalo managed to unearth talks about some amount of break-neck speeds when the phone gets on to LTE area. However, considering that 4G LTE speeds wouldn’t keep battery life longer, concerns exist on that front. The 1500 mAh battery in this handset, as per tipster info, is capable of 8 – 10 hours of life. Now that is something we would also like to experience on Verizon.
You can see more images in the gallery below, but this is definitely a sleek looking phone, and with LTE speeds, it’s just going to be blazing fast. The only potential drawback may be hitting your data limits in just a few days if you aren’t careful.
