Olympus has announced the release of IPLEX YS industrial videoscope featuring air articulation and industry first laser light source. The new IPLEX YS features an extra long 30m insertion tube. Further to this, the new IPLEX YS industrial videoscope comes with high-tech optimization for long-tube operation, including gravity sensors to indicate orientation. The new IPLEX YS is a new addition to IPLEX Series industrial videoscopes for non-destructive inspection in a wide range of maintenance situations, including aircraft engines, plant facilities, as well as pipes in commercial buildings and condominiums.
The new IPLEX YS overcomes the earlier drawbacks of earlier models with limited tip articulation, weak illumination and the inability to ascertain the orientation of the scope from the screen image. The new IPLEX YS will be launched on November 10th, 2010.
