Dell 10.1″ Inspiron Mini 1018 Shipping in Europe

eThe new Dell Inspiron Mini 1018 has just started shipping in Europe. Priced at £279 in the UK (that’s about $435 at today’s rate) or €279 in Italy ($355), the Mini 10 netbook features a curvaceous chassis covered in a sleek Obsidian Black and modeled after the Inspiron R series.

It runs on a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor (FSB 667 MHz, cache L2 512 KB) and as you probably know already, the Inspiron Mini 1018 comes with a 10.1-inch widescreen WSVGA (1,024 x 600) display, has 1GB of DDR3 memory, 802.11n WiFi connectivity and a 160GB hard drive. On top of that, you’re getting a built-in webcam and Windows 7 Starter to play with.
