Nokia N8 with New Symbian 3 Platform


BlackBerry and iPhone now have a smartphone competitor as Nokia released Nokia N8. The Nokia N8 claimed to be a great partner for those who love to travel since the free global Ovi Maps walk and drive navigation is offered for a perfect substitution for a Satellite Navigation system.

The Nokia N8 runs on Symbian 3 Platform; this includes three personal easily-scrolled-through-homescreens. It has finger touch support for text input and UI control with on-screen alphanumeric keypad and full keyboard and Chinese handwriting recognition. It weights 135gm, with the size of 113.5 x 59 x 12.9 mm and a 3.5″ screen size with accelerometer and proximity sensor.
The Nokia N8 offers an impressive 16 GB internal memory for your storage space and is expandable up to 48GB. It is also equipped with a 3.5-inch screen and 12 MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, Xenon flash and a large sensor that equals to those found in compact digital cameras which make it has the ability to make HD-quality videos.
Another features offered in the Nokia N8 are it has a GPRS/EDGE class B, a conversational view for SMS, music playback for about fifty hours. It also offers three ranges of color choices: orange, blue and green.
