timl2k11Hmm, I don't see why the gyroscope would be affected. The accelerometer? Sure. They should test GPS ;-) (which I'm pretty sure is outside of its parameters), and 3G signal strength. Wonder how many cell towers you can negotiate from up there? :-) Maybe they are testing the gyroscope specific performance with an eye on replacing the mega-expensive and prone to failure gyroscopes they use on space telescopes now.
