Sidekick his final “kick” with T-Mobile

After leaving Microsoft KIN series, the time for the Sidekick series to return to the grave. T-Mobile has decided to end the current Sidekick siblings. Sidekick LX and Sidekick 2008 model year will no longer be available on the shelves or online.

generation of T-Mobile Sidekick, July 2, and Sidekick LX


Sidekick 2008 will no longer be available through T-Mobile, including the


shops, care, telesales and online, “the company said in


statement.



However, a press statement, T-Mobile clarified that the Sidekick brand is still “alive” and the current owners of Sidekick devices will continue to receive product support.

“While working on the next chapter of our storied franchise Sidekick,

T-Mobile will continue to provide our loyal customers with the Sidekick


Service and Support, “T-Mobile said.” Stay tuned for interesting


update in the coming months, which we expect to provide customers with


new and fresh experience.



Few know about the future of the Sidekick, but rumors abound about T-Mobile intends to introduce Android mobile Sidekick charged.

Sidekick was an early web browser connection, a large QWERTY slider, instant messaging, voice calling, e-mail and a wide screen for viewing. Addressed to a young audience that its own list of faithful fans, even though the project is not liked by many.

Its been difficult for siblings Sidekick to keep up with the current crop of smartphones. The final blow came last year when a huge hit Danger software failure causing data loss. Lawsuits were filed by consumers and the Microsoft / T-Mobile have been accused of negligence and fraudulent claims.
