Norton Commando 961 announced at �15,995

Norton has announced the price for its Commando 961 that will be �15,995. The first Norton Commando 961 bike of this legendary British motorcycle brand is expected to be built at the end of July.
Currently, Norton is owned by Stuart Garner that bought this brand from the previous American owner Kenny Greer. Norton Commando 961 is the first bike for the newly-British owned firm.
Norton boss Stuart Garner has confirmed: �Final tooling is just being signed off now and we hope to get the first pre-production bikes built up shortly. The price has been set at �15,995 for the Commando and we will be contacting the 7000 or so people who expressed an interest. He also added: �If they wish to pursue the purchase we will be asking for a 10 per cent deposit.�
