This was not confirmed among other 3D related Playstation 3 announcements, Sony declared during the Tokyo Game Show press conference this month, but it looks like the firm has another gadgets in store for those that just can not get enough 3D.
A new PlayMemories application was just confirmed, it will be available for download free of charge by the end of this month. The app will let you visualize both 2D and 3D images captured with a 3D camera, including Sony’s NEX-5/NEX-3, WX5 and TX9
We didn’t get to see the app, but the release date is now at the end of the month, so we will be patient.
