Mobile accessory manufacturer Powermat aims to go into partnership with cellphone manufacturers in order to incorporate their wireless charging technology into such mobile devices. At the moment, Powermat's base station delivers wireless charging to selected gadgets via their special cases and battery doors, but hope to make this a mainstream capability sometime in the near future. Of course, a lot of it will then depend on whether other companies are willing to partner with Powermat or not.
