Murata Seisaku Kun (Murata Boy) and Murata Seisaku Chan (Murata Girl), Murata Japan latest Robots, learned a new trick for CEATEC with for the first model, Murata Boy, the capacity to now climb slops. Thanks to its capacity to adapt its power output, the Murata Boy robot is now capable to climb obstacle at various speed in order to keep its balance.
Another improvement from Murata on the Murata Boy its contact less battery charging capacity, its idle energy saving mode and its capacity to be “wake-up” by a simple touch on the top of its head.
Murata Girl, a unicycling robot, in the other hand is still not capable to climb slop, but is now capable to drive and traverse an S-shaped balance beam without loosing balance.
