The eLocity A7 tablet has just made its way over to the FCC, where it will be yet another Android 2.2-powered tablet to hit the market in due time. What do you get with the A7? Well, how about a 7-inch WVGA capacitive touch screen at 800 x 480 resolution for starters? Not only that, video processing capability is enhanced with its NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, while other hardware specifications include 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 1.3-megapixel camera, 1080p output thanks to an HDMI connection, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It won't bog you down either at just 1.02 pounds in a 8.2-inch x 4.8-inch x 0.5-inch form factor. Philadelphia-based Stream TV Networks will be selling the eLocity A7, and the lack of 3G would mean less chances of it being made available via mobile carriers. The eLocity A7 can be preordered from Amazon for $370 a pop with no firm release date in sight, but soon would be a pretty good indication.
