LG B to be the thinnest Android phone ever (it’s thinner than iPhone 4 anyway)

when Apple officially announced the new iPhone 4, Steve Jobs presented it as the thinnest smartphone ever. Well, it looks like it won’t be for long – because LG seems to have one that’s even thinner.
Codenamed LG B for the moment, the smartphone is not yet officially announced, but it has appeared in some photos next to the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S (which is also really thin – only 9.9mm).
The handset could be mistaken for the just-announced LG Optimus 2X (the world’s first dual core Android smartphone), but they’re actually different devices.
The LG B seems to feature a 4 inch WVGA ISP LCD that’s brighter than the displays of iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S. Other than that and the fact that it has a 3.5mm headset jack, we don’t know much about the new smartphone. Anyway, check out the photos above.
There’s no word on when the LG B will be officially unveiled, but maybe we’ll see it at CES 2011 (January 6 – 9). I’m pretty sure it will be included in the Optimus family when (and if) announced
