The technology is impressive and the hardware feels high quality. The 10-incher is lighter than the iPad. The content ecosystem is in place – tons of publishers lined up for books and magazines. I think one of the telecoms over here will provide downloadable movies or rentals. There’s Android on board although I don’t know what version. There’s an app drawer which has a small collection of apps. Did not see any way to download more although it might be possible through the store which was not accessible due to lack of Internet access. Same for the browser, could not test that. Only thing that didn’t seem to hot was the onscreen keyboard – you couldn’t change the default layout, but hey, it’s Android, there’s always a possibility there and the speed – everything felt sluggish. Animations were almost like slideshows.
