Introducing Industry’s first Rugged Compact Camera with Built-in GPS Functionality

FujiFilm has released world’s first water, shock, dust and yes… freeze proof compact camera with built-in GPS functionality. The new FinePix XP30 features a 14.2 megapixel resolution with a 5 times zoom plus optical image stabilization for shooting sharp images in any given condition. With the GPS functionality, the location can be displayed either as longitude and latitude of by locations name; thanks to its embedded list storing around half a million places of interest around the world. The feature would allow user to tag location information to the taken picture for easy search for the taken shots. Furthermore, if the user wants to create a photobook of a specific location they can do so through use of Photobook Assist function, where the user can tag images then turn the pages of the book on the camera’s rear LCD. On top of this, the new FinePix XP30 will allow the use to return to the visited location even if they can’t remember through its Photo Navigation mode, by simply letting the users to know how far they are from their current spots and show them the traveling direction.
The camera also allows is user to re-trace their steps and map a route of their travels through use of Route Logging function. The images can be downloaded to PC through MyFinePix Studio, a map of the route, along with the pictures that has been taken along the way created using Google Maps. Among some of the key features of the new FinePix XP30 are; Motion Panorama mode which automatically stitches up to three shots to create panoramic picture, 2.7 inch rear LCD with 230,000 pixels, face detection, HD movie capture of 720p at 30 frames per second or conventional 640 x 480 pixel definition and CCD shift image stabilization to name a few. The new FinePix XP30 comes in 6 vibrant colors of Black, Silver, Orange, Blue, Green and White
