An internal slip may have confirmed a likely date for the Motorola Atrix 4G’s in-store date with AT&T. The inventory check shows the dual-core Android phone as arriving on Tuesday, March 1. Its ship date is tentative as Android Central notes that phones usually go on sale at AT&T on Sundays, but it has made exceptions for high-profile devices.
Pricing is still a mystery, although the Atrix 4G as a high end phone is likely to cost $200 on a two-year smartphone contract. The Atrix 4G earns its name through its fast HSPA+ 3G support, but it’s best known for the dual-core Tegra 2 processor at its heart. Its performance is enough to pipe 1080p video but centers most around Webtop.
The new concept gives it a desktop-like interface and USB support either when in a cradle or a special, 11.6-inch notebook dock that replicates a full portable. A 4.1-inch, 960×540 display, front and back cameras, 16GB of internal storage and dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi with hotspot support also make it Motorola’s flagship.
