Panasonic opens facility in Hanoi to help kids learn science, math

Panasonic Corp has opened a facility in Hanoi to help Vietnamese children learn famous scientific and mathematical principles through play activities based on the company’s advanced audio-visual technologies. The Risupia facility is the first of its kind outside of Japan, where Panasonic first opened one in Tokyo in 2006, the Osaka-based consumer electronics giant said.
In the showroom of the facility, visitors can view 3D images. Viewing Vietnam as a promising market, Panasonic is hoping the new facility will enhance its name recognition in the country, company officials said.
