we have enough time to discuss what’s new. Contrary to what you might think, the biggest announcement that HTC made today doesn’t consist of the new smartphones, the Desire HD and the Desire Z. No, it’s not about them. It’s about the new HTC Sense UI which is simpler to use, but in the same time it’s more useful as it comes packed with a lot of new features.
One of the reasons why I’ve held myself from buying an Android phone, is the software’s usability and UI. The stock Android UI is not cool at all, Motoblur is ugly, while the Sense UI is kinda hard to use. Android UIs are not intuitive at all, and the iOS UI is definitely better.
What’s so special about that website? Thanks to htcsense.com users will be able to wipe the devices remotely, enable/disable call forwarding, view and backup SMS text messages, view and backup call logs, locate phone, and send route info and map coordinates to device.
That’s a pretty impressive list and frankly, that’s what we expect from Google, not from a phone maker. Kudos to HTC for achieving this and I have to say that I cannot wait for the website to go live next month! Android sales will definitely see a boost in Europe and beyond!
