This is pretty interesting stuff. Our own Andrew Steffy decided to flash GAPPS(Google Apps) is in recently leaked T-Mobile G2 build on CyanogenMod 6 night in the Nexus, then voila … works!
GAPPS Inside you'll find all the new designs and applications you've come to know and love from time Froyo(widget market, tips, etc.), and much more. As far as we can tell, almost every application Google Android is now available in your device. When he said “Google”, they were not kidding. What's more, there's even something new: Google Voice widget. The new Google Voice widget shows how much money in your account GV, useful features and buttons for quick access to inbox, compose the message function, the settings when you use the GV, and a button to turn off the Google Voice.
Is revolution continues have something in common with T-Mobile and VOIP? Exactly how Google works with Voice G2 and T-Mobile is not yet clear, but we know that calling features recently added to the web client GMail, Google is pushing hard. Of course, this may simply be a good time for Google to push out a new widget, but hey, can we dream? Looking for more information when I find it to develop. In the meantime, check out eye candy below. Rev it!
Update: Actually, you can customize the shortcut keys. It's About Time.
