Folks from Verizon are starting to deliver to their customers, and I’m not only talking about the fact that they’ll make the official Galaxy Tab announcement tomorrow. They’re trying to please their current users, and that’s very important. According to a Droid Does page, Verizon will release an official Android 2.2 OTA for the Motorola Droid X very soon — like any moment now.
Android 2.2 for Motorola Droid X on Verizon
Froyo on the Droid X not only means Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, there are now auto updates for your apps and 270-degree rotation in case you need it. If what we’re hearing is true, there are some sketchy leaked versions of Android 2.2 for the Droid X (which by the way, are said to work just fine if you want to try them), but it looks like everyone is waiting for that official download link to hit on their mobiles. And to be honest, they can’t be blamed.
Are you among those who got Froyo on the Droid X before the official OTA or are you going to wait?
