Rumors about Samsung’s unannounced NX100 camera have been doing the rounds for a while now. The latest we get to know is that a leaked press photo of this camera is out and it gives us a good look at the NX100.
The camera will be Samsung’s smallest mirrorless interchangeable camera and will be slightly thinner than the Panasonic GF1, but will be wide enough for you to notice in your hand.
The press shots come thanks to a forum poster at DPReview. Not much features are available now, but a 20-55mm f3.6-5.6 lens is expected to be available for this camera. It could possibly be coming equipped with a 14.6-megapixel APS-C sensor similar to the Samsung NX10.
There are also reports that suggest that the lens features just 2.5X zoom. There will not be any built-in flash.
There is no news on the pricing as well as the availability of the camera. That all will have to wait until Photokina where Samsung is expected to make an official announcement of the NX100. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
