A new version of the Gmail application is available in the Android Marker, so find out that Gmail updates do not depend anymore to Android version releases.
The great news is that you can now update Gmail faster without having to wait for system updates. Some great and useful features also received some improvements such as message replies, access to quoted text and much more.
As you read your email, no matter how long it is, your most important message options will now remain on the top of the screen. You can view the content of previous messages more easily, just like in the desktop version of Gmail, with the help of ‘Show quoted text’ feature.
Unfortunately you can benefit from this update only if you have a Nexus One, HTC EVO, Motorola Droid 2 or Motorola Droid, because it requires Froyo operating system, at least for now.
