GetGlue , popular on the internet and social networking applications, IOS, announced its new Android applications. For those who do not know GetGlue, it is a social networking game, similar to the Foursquare, but you do not even have to leave the comfort of your home. Users can check in to share with friends, what they are reading a book or movie, what they watch. After checking in several different categories, the system can pick up a trend and will actually begin to provide suggestions for other books, movies, or musicians may be interested in addition to the release of their application for Android, they also announced several new partnerships with companies such as HBO, PBS, Universal, and more, which only helps to develop their game.
Instead of receiving the badges to prove themselves in it, users will receive a sticker, and not as part of the game. One of the neatest features is that the user can go to their website online at any time and request physical copies of any labels that may have gained. GetGlue will send you, free of charge, a copy of the sticker and all they ask in return is a picture showing where the stickers used. With over 500,000 users and nearly five million check ins and assessment in the month, the application is linked to those looking for new materials on their toes. Finally, in addition to IOS, and web applications for Android will offer a very lightweight version of the mobile Web to keep up with friends on your BlackBerry and webOS the event, so spread the word! Download link and screenshots are after the break.
