Motorola has announced its 7 Android phones (some of which were announced and rumored earlier) which are coming sometime in the near future. The list of phones include Bravo, Citrus, Defy, Droid Pro, Flipout, Flipside and Spice.
The Motorola Bravo, which is being called “small but mighty”, runs Android 2.1 and comes equipped with a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen. The phone will be available later this year on AT&T.
The Android 2.1 running Motorola Citrus features a 3-inch QVGA screen and a 3 megapixel camera. The device will also have a compact form, a 3.5mm headset jack and it is headed to Verizon Wireless later this year.
Next up is the Motorola Droid Pro. We had just reported about this Android 2.2 based device that it will be arriving at the Verizon stores in the next few weeks. The device is aimed at the BlackBerry market and will be coming equipped with a portrait QWERTY keyboard placed below a 3.1-inch touchscreen. The phone features World Roaming Capabilities, increased security measures as well as advanced E-Mail and Calendar options.
The Motorola Defy, which is dubbed as the Life Proof device, will be resistant against water, drops, roughness, tumbles and other turbulence. This device will greatly appeal to the simple cell phone user who wants a smart and compact upgrade and it is headed to T-Mobile later this year.
The Motorola Flipout, which will be available on Verizon Wireless later this year, runs Android 2.1 and has a 2.8-inch display. It will also have a 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio, a 3 megapixel camera and other features. The device has a roundabout swerving QWERTY mechanism and comes in 2 interchangeable colors.
The Motorola Flipside is a slider with CLIQ-like keyboard buttons and runs Android 2.1. The device features a 3.1-inch screen, a 3 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, FM Radio and more. You will be pleased to know that all these features are coming at an affordable price. The device will be available on AT&T later this year.
The Motorola Spice is a simple and compact Android device. It sports a 3-inch QVGA screen and has a 3 megapixel camera. It also has a 3.5mm headset jack and runs Android 2.1.
Motorola also announced three Bluetooth accessories which are the Motorola Command One, Motorola Finiti and Motorola Roadster.
