Sprint To Carry LG Optimus S, Sanyo Zio And Samsung Transform, Release Dates And Details Unveiled

Finally, after so much waiting, Sprint has announced the LG Optimus S, Sanyo Zio, and Samsung Transform to it’s Android handset ‘parking lot’.
Now we can finally tell you some details. Find out that the LG Optimus S is running Android 2.2 featuring a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, visual voicemail, 3.2 megapixel camera, Sprint ID, Wi-Fi ( with hotspot support ), GPS, 1500 mAh battery, and micro-SD card slot. If you agree to sign a contract you can grab it for just $49.99, beginning with October 31.
On the other hand, the Sanyo Zio has advantages and disadvantages compared with its rival, the LG Optimus S. This handset will run Android 2.1 with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi b/g, visual voicemail, Sprint ID, GPS, 1140 mAh battery, and micro-SD card slot. As in previous case, you can buy this device for $99.99 on-contract, will be available on October 10.
Last but not least, the Samsung Transform will feature Android 2.1 with a 3.5-inch HVGA display, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera with flash, front-facing VGA camera, Sprint ID, 800 MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM and 1500 mAh battery. The good news is that Samsung promised to bring an update to Android 2.2 later this year. You can buy starting with October 10 for $149.99 on-contract.
