By now most of you may have come across the new rave of having 3DTVs without the aid of the usual active shutter glasses. Apparently most companies have had their offering and now we have one from Philips called the Philips Dimenco 3D TV Glasses-free TV.
Philips has worked together with Dimenco to unveil this additional 3D TV offering.
As you would guess, it would not need any glasses to enjoy 3D entertainment, although we may have to wait until 2013 to actually enjoy it.
Initial impressions were also made for this 3D TV offering, rated as average for the moment.
The said TV has yet to offer that actual 3D experience, without the actual 3D shutter glasses we have all been seeing to date.
No word on how much this joint product between Philips and Dimenco would cost but basing it on the technology used and of course how other companies would treat it, you can bet it will not be a cheap one.
