When it comes to DSLRs you cannot not think of Nikon who is always working on something new that will definitely improve your experience as an amateur / professional photographer. The latest in a long list of DSLR series is the Nikon D3S which was unveiled last night by the Tokyo-based company. The Nikon D3S is a 12.1-megapixel DSLR which comes packed with a ISO range of 200 to 12,800, but which can be increased up to 102,400.
I know what you’re thinking because I’m thinking it too: that’s pretty impressive but where on Earth did we say this before? Of course there are other cameras capable of that, but how many of them can shoot videos at 720p at 24 fps with Auto-focus, and a new algorithm that prevents shuttering? The problem with the Nikon D3S as well as other Nikon’s DSLRs is that it doesn’t feature image stabilization.
Nikon also released the pricing and availability details of the D3S DSLR which is going to become available in late November for a price of $5,199 for body-only. What do you think? Isn’t this a little expensive? I think it is, but let’s just wait for November to come.
