Android NFC Apps Are Starting To Launch, EnableTable & Taglet Among Them

After hearing about the first NFC-enabled Google handset, reports are now reaching us regarding new applications making use of the technology popping up. EnableTable, a restaurant app which allows restaurants to offer discounts upon completion of payment and Taglet, a contactless information sharing app that’s compatible with the FeliCa and Mifare standards now in place
NFC adoption is mostly shrouded in rumors and speculation since the technology is so promising and undersupported at the same time, but apparently Google wants to put a shoulder to it, this even being the reason they acquired mobile wallet company Zetawire according to some reports. Being one of the only high-profile companies with an NFC handset on the way certainly doesn’t suggest otherwise.
