Development of Android-Based Vehicle-Mounted Terminal by FUJITSU TEN

Fujitsu Ten made an announcement on development of a Android based vehicle mounted terminal equipped with NVIDIA®egra™ mobile superchip. Fujitsu Ten has developed this device as part of company’s three general themes of “linking carts with society”, “linking cars with people”, and “linking cars with other cars” as well as cars with infrastructure. Fujitsu Ten has developed this prototype in light of popularity of next generation vehicles such as HV, PHV and EV along with their expected networking capability through car navigation units.
