Details on a rumoured Honeycomb smartphone that goes by the codename of HTC Saga have been outed on the web, further adding to the growing speculation that Android 3.0 could be for mobile phones as well as tablet devices.
According to unnamed sources, the Saga will come complete with the following tech:
- 1GHz processor
 - 3.7 inch WVGA touchscreen display
 - Bluetooth
 - GPS
 - Wi-Fi

Clearly, there’s still plenty to learn about the upcoming handset and the spec list raises further question on the situation with Android 3.0 Honeycomb.  From what we’ve seen so far the Saga looks to be heading for the mid-range smartphone market therefore quashing earlier rumours that the next Google software instalment requires a dual-core processor to work.
The HTC Saga has been pegged for a May 2011 release and while early details are likely to change, it does give Google time to clear the air about  Honeycomb.
