Coming really soon now to the IFA show in Berlin is LG’s LEX8, an LED television that’s going to offer an incredible new look at television by virtue of sheer slimness.
LG LEX8

We’ve already seen a lot of slim LED televisions, but by comparison, the LEX8 is downright emaciated. It’s got a bezel of just 1.25 cm, which represents an incredibly thin television. But it’s not just thin, it’s also powerful: it’s a full 3D television with two seven watt speakers, TruMotion 400HZ, Clear Voice II, and plenty more besides.
Early reports suggest that seeing the LEX8 in action will ruin you for every other 3D television currently on the market, and though that may be just a smidge of hyperbole I’m not inclined to take too much issue with it. LG generally handles good quality material, and this looks like it’ll be right in line.
Sadly, though, it’ll be hitting German and Japanese markets first, with no word on when it’ll hit the States. There’s also no word on pricing yet either, but after IFA, there should be much more.
